Sonia Rodríguez Llamas, Full Professor of Civil Law at the University of Valencia, has a doctorate from this university and has more than three decades of academic and research experience. Her main lines of research focus on civil liability, appropriate methods of conflict resolution (MASC) and mediation, family crises and economic-matrimonial regimes, gender violence and civil contracting. He has two recognized six-year periods of research and a solid scientific production that includes three monographs (one of them with a second edition), an annotated legislative compilation, forty book chapters and sixteen articles in indexed journals, in addition to intense participation in national and international conferences and seminars. 

She has participated in various competitive international, national and regional research projects on intellectual property, mediation, gender violence and European law, as well as in research contracts with public administrations. These activities have been complemented with research stays in prestigious centers, such as the University of London or the Sapienza University of Rome. 

His research activity is also characterized by a strong orientation towards the transfer of knowledge, highlighting his membership in the Institutional Chair for the Culture of Mediation (UV-Generalitat) and his continued participation in specialized training for legal operators (CGPJ, IVAP, among others), as well as his contribution to the development of public regulations, such as the Citizen Coexistence Ordinance of the city of Valencia.

In the teaching field, for more than 30 academic years, he has taught Civil Law subjects in numerous degrees and double degrees (Law, DADE, Political Sciences,Criminology, among others), as well as in official master's and doctoral programs. His teaching activity has been positively evaluated with four five-year periods and an excellent rating in the Docentia program, and is characterized by methodological innovation, the use of ICT and the practical orientation of learning. 

Likewise, she continuously participates in teaching innovation projects and is a member of consolidated groups in this field, having also served as principal researcher in projects aimed at the development of legal skills. In the field of academic direction, he has co-supervised a doctoral thesis and directed numerous master's and degree final projects. 

In terms of university management, she currently serves as co-director of the Master's Degree in Law and Gender Violence at the University of Valencia and has been its secretary, in addition to holding the position of Cap d'Initiatives against Sexist Violence at the University of Valencia since 2019, leading institutional initiatives on equality and prevention. He has led the creation of the UV service "Espai Violeta" of the UV. This service provides legal, psychological and academic assistance and support to women victims of sexist violence who are part of the university community
