PhD in Psychology from the University of Valencia, Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC), and Private Pilot License from the Spanish Aviation Safety Agency (AESA).
For six years, I held the position of Chief Ground Instructor (CGI) at AIRMED International Flight School, and for three years, I worked as a Senior Consultant at Bo Growth, an HR consultancy. I served as Director of the Valencia Base for Panamedia International Flight School for seven years, starting in November 2015, and have been a member of the Spanish Association of Aviation Psychology (AEPA) since July 2006, serving as Secretary for three years (2009–2012) and again since June 2024.
As an Associate Professor in the Department of Social Psychology at the University of Valencia, I currently teach, in English, the subjects Social Psychology of Work in the Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Health and Quality of Working Life Psychology in the Erasmus Mundus Master’s Program in Work, Organizational, and Personnel Psychology (WOP-P Master), co-coordinating and supervising internships and Master’s theses, as well as supervising Bachelor’s theses in the Degree in Psychology and the Degree in Labour Relations and Human Resources. Since April 2025, I have been Deputy Coordinator for Mobility of the ERASMUS+ program for the Psychology Degree at the University of Valencia.
I completed a research stay at the University of Maryland (USA) in 1998 and have received various research awards, including the 2004 William A. Owens Scholarly Achievement Award from the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP) and the 2012 Gordon Allport Intergroup Relations Prize from the Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues (SPSSI).
