Dr. Teresa Puchol Tur is an Assistant Professor of Tax Law at the University of Valencia. She holds a PhD in Law from the same university, where she defended a dissertation on the harmonisation of corporate taxation in the European Union, offering a critical view of current tax competition.
Her research is conducted within the framework of competitive national projects such as DIGISOST and TAXEMPRESAXXI, focusing on corporate taxation, sustainability, and the digital economy. She has authored over ten academic publications in national and international journals, covering topics such as EU tax law, environmental taxation, and cooperative taxation.
She has undertaken research stays at leading institutions such as the International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation (IBFD) in Amsterdam and the Institute for Austrian and International Tax Law at WU Vienna.
Dr. Puchol Tur has taught more than 450 hours in undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. She also engages in outreach and knowledge transfer activities in collaboration with the Chair of Agri-food Cooperatives and the Aula Empresocial, promoting awareness of social economy.
Her current research focuses on EU tax law, with particular interest in the BEFIT proposal, minimum taxation, and tax justice.
