Laura Lacomba-Trejo is a PhD Assistant Professor at the Department of Developmental and Educational Psychology at the University of Valencia. She has a Graduate Degree in Psychology, a Master's Degree in General Health Psychology and a Doctor in Research in Psychology from the Universitat de València. Added to the above, she has an Expert in Accompaniment and intervention in grieving processes and a University Expert of Specialization in methodology of adult education, both from the Miguel de Cervantes European University.
Her research and clinical practice have focused on health psychology throughout the life cycle, especially the importance of family and emotional ties for physical and emotional adjustment. Her interests are in the child and adolescent population, family, adverse childhood, grief, suicide prevention and attachment. She has participated in multiple national and international research projects, currently having more than 90 published articles, more than 40 contributions in the form of a book or book chapter and more than 180 contributions at national or international conferences. As a result of the above, he has received several awards for the scientific-technical quality of his contributions, including the Entrepreneurial Psychologists Award: Young Researchers category awarded by the General Council of Psychology of Spain and the Spanish Foundation for the Promotion and Scientific Development Psychology Professional.
