Dr. Verónica Romero is assitant professor at Universitat de València. She received the M.S. degree in Computer Science from the Universitat Politècnica de València in 2005 and the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the same university in 2010. In 2005 she joined the PRHLT research center of the UPV where she has been working in several national and European projects on Pattern Recognition and Handwritten Text Recognition. Her current fields of interest include pattern recognition, multimodal interaction, natural language processing and applications to handwritten text recognition and speech recognition. Verónica Romero has collaborated in more than 15 research proyects from 2005. She has published more than 70 papers in journals, conference proceedings and books
