Senior Lecturer in Religions and Law.
She has been Vice Dean of the Degree in Political Science and Administration and Research of the Faculty of Law of the University of Valencia during the years 2018 to 2021.
His research works are related to fundamental rights, public freedoms and religious groups. Specifically, her publications study the incidence of the religious factor in European legislative policies on biomedical research and also about immigration, addressing issues of family law, religious minorities, gender and religions, and cultural and religious diversity. He has been member of several research projects funded by public and private institutions, highlighting his participation in an international project entitled "Redefining families: bioethics, assisted reproduction and emerging family forms", led by researchers from the Center for Family Research of the University of Cambridge (United Kingdom) and financed by the Welcome Trust of London. She has been visiting professor at the Center for Family Research at the University of Cambridge, at the Max Planck Institute for Religion and Ethnic Diversity in Göttigen, at the Swiss Institute of Comparative Law, at the University of Heidelberg and at Sapienza University. Currently, she directs, together with Professor Carmen Tomás y Valiente, the Research Group of the University of Valencia: "BioLaw: Interdisciplinary research group". Regarding university management, in addition to being Vice-Dean, she has been Secretary of the Department from 2003 to 2015, member of the Faculty of the University of Valencia from 2005 to 2021, member of the Teaching Commission during the years 2006 to 2012, member of the Research Commission from 2013 to 2021 and member of the Board of the Faculty of Law of the University of Valencia from 2004 to the present.
From 2023, she directs, together with Professor Paulino Pardo, the Spanish legal Journal "Laicidad y libertades. Escritos Jurídicos".
