Tenured University Professor at the Department of Psychological Personality, Evaluation and Treatment. Constituent member of the Interdisciplinary Seminar of Feminism Research and of the University Institute of Women’s Studies. Retired since 2009. During her academic activity, her researching interests were focused on the analysis of social constructions in subjectivity and on psychic implications derived from the influence of myths and cultural ideals in health. She has been a guest researcher and teacher in national and international university centres such as the following: University of Granada; University of the Basque Country; Universitat Mainz; University of New Mexico; Universidad de la Habana and la Universidad de Ciencias Empresariales y Sociales de Buenos Aires.
She has been member of the group Experts in Health in the Women’s Institute, of the Advisory Council of Col·lecció Feminismes by Cátedra Editions and of the Editorial board, among other, of journals Intersubjetivo and Asparkía.
