Entreiguals mentoring

Students beginning their university studies in September 2026 at the Faculty of Geography and History of the University of Valencia can take advantage of Entreiguals, a peer mentoring programme designed to make the transition to university life easier

This programme connects first-year students and incoming students with more experienced students who were recently in the same situation and can support them during their arrival at the University, as well as provide useful information whenever needed.

We strongly encourage new UV students to take advantage of this opportunity, as it will help you:

  • find your way around the campus: classrooms, laboratories, library, etc.;
  • better understand how the Faculty of Geography and History works;
  • solve common questions about grants, scholarships, the Virtual Classroom, and other university services;
  • learn about extracurricular opportunities such as language courses, sports, volunteering programmes, and more.

How does it work at our Faculty?

After enrolling, or during the first days of classes, you will receive an email in your new UV email account offering you the possibility of having an Entreiguals mentor.

If you are interested, simply reply to that email. The Faculty will assign you a mentor, who will contact you either by email or via WhatsApp. From that moment on, you may use this person as a point of reference and ask any questions you may have, according to your needs.

Entreiguals is a programme of the Vice-Rectorate for Studies and Quality, managed by the Student Information and Engagement Service (SEDI) and carried out in coordination with the faculties and the School of Engineering (ETSE-UV) of the University of Valencia.
