The deadline to register for the internal team sports competition is on 24 October. This year beach volleyball joins the classic basketball, 3x3 basketball, 7-a-side football, indoor football and volleyball.

In order to encourage competition within the university community, UVesports organises during the academic year internal competitions in various sports disciplines, both in teams and individually, in which each year champions of the Universitat de València are proclaimed. After the UV Championship, the Principal’s Trophy is held, which is the culmination of the internal competition activities of each academic year.

If you want to test and excel yourself, while improving every day, sign up for the different UV championships of individual or team sports, open to the entire UV University Community, both students and UV Staff (teaching and research staff and administrative and service staff). To participate you only need to register through the platform “SELF-ENROLMENT”, which can be accessed from the UVesports website.

In individual sports you can register for as many competitions as you want, there is no fixed deadline; you can register as long as there are still days left to be held. But in team sports the registration period is more limited, it ends on Monday 24 October.

Teams are formed on the initiative of the applicants, who must be represented by a team official. The team sports that have internal competition are basketball, 3x3 basketball, 7-a-side football, indoor football, volleyball and beach volleyball.

The individual sports that usually, every academic year, schedule internal competitions are: chess, athletics, badminton, climbing, fencing, frontennis, judo, kendo, orienteering, paddle tennis, Valencian pilota, squash, tennis, table tennis, archery and sailing.
If you participate in the internal competition you can get 1 ECTS credit per academic year, but you must have played a minimum of matches played by the team in the regular phase of the competition.

On the UVesports website you will find all the necessary information on how to register for the internal competitions.
