The Universitat de València will offer this year 9.019 places for the first year of the degree for the academic year 2026-2027, 135 places more than the year finishing. The academic institution with more than 500 years of history brings up the largest and most diverse offer among Valencian universities with 75 degrees to choose that include all branches of knowledge. This year the offer includes 59 degrees, 16 double degrees, to which 8 double international degrees and 2 dual mention degrees would be added.
PAU marks
On Friday 12 the marks of the Spanish University Entrance Exams (PAU) were known, and they can be seen in the platform enabled by the Generalitat, to which you can access from here.
Pre-registration to the different degrees offered by the Universitat de València is open from Monday, 15 June. All the information is available here.
The deadline is 3 July at 2 p.m. The pre-registration results will be published here on 10 July from 11 a.m. onwards.
Degree programmes offered at the Universitat de València
The students will be able to choose between the 75 degrees offered by the Universitat de València –four of them being new-, the most numerous offer among Valencian universities. For the first course, 9.019 places will be offered, with an increment of 135 places compared with the previous year.
The 135 extra places offered this year correspond, mainly, to the three new double degrees: Archaeology-History; Human Nutrition and Dietetics and Physical Activity and Sports Sciences; and Law and International Relations. Also to the new Degree in Archaeology, and besides, the number of places for the Degree in Physics has been increased.
There will also be other 455 places for centres associated to the UV (Florida Universitaria and EDEM).

According to the Vice-Principal for Studies and Quality, Javier Roca, ‘The Universitat de València maintains an ongoing commitment to adapting its academic offer to the needs of a society in constant transformation. For the following academic year, we enhance strategic fields with a place increase in highly demanded degrees, such as the Degree in Physics, and we include new educational proposals that respond to new scientific, technological, cultural, and social challenges, such as the Degree in Archaeology, or the double degrees in Archaeology and History, Law and International Relations, and Human Nutrition and Dietetics and Physical Activity and Sport Sciences. These actions reflect our will to offer a quality education, related to the demands of the environment, the job opportunities, and the great challenges of our time, guaranteeing at the same time a proper response to the growing interest of the students for some areas of knowledge.’ Roca has also added that ‘the Universitat de València betting on an innovative offer, aligned with social needs is also reflected on the promotion of dual university training, which becomes established the following year with the Dual Mention Degree in Chemistry and the Dual Mention Degree in Chemical Engineering. This fosters a more applied training, a greater connection with companies, and a better preparation for labour inclusion.’

The degree programmes offered in four UV campuses
The Universitat de València (UV) divides its academic offer in four campuses. The Blasco Ibáñez Campus is located in the city of València, and it comprehends studies of the healthcare area —such as Medicine, Dentistry, Nursery, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Psychology, or Physical Activity and Sport Sciences— and of the branch of humanities, such as Philosophy, Education Sciences, Philology, Translation, Communication, Geography and History. The Tarongers Campus is also located in the capital, specialised on social and legal sciences, including degrees such as Economics, Tourism, Business Management, Law, Political Sciences, Criminology, Sociology, or Teacher Training, among others. In turn, the Burjassot-Paterna Campus includes scientific degrees (Chemistry, Mathematics, Pharmacy, Nutrition, Biology, or Environmental Sciences) and engineering degrees (Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Telematics Engineering, Multimedia Engineering, and Data Science). The Ontinyent Campus (la Vall d’Albaida) also offers Nursery, Business Management and Administration, Preschool Education, and Physical Activity and Sports Sciences.
The Universitat de València has also a broad offer regarding international and national mobility programmes. Erasmus, Sicue, or international programmes in universities outside the European Union are some of the most appealing programmes for the students who want to do study stays abroad. This way, around 2.000 students from the UV participate in these programmes. Moreover, the Universitat de València represents one of the most attractive universities for international students, turning it into the first one in the whole State in the reception of foreign students, a position that is ususally disputed with the University of Granada.
Scholarships for the students and support for the students with specific needs
Intended to guarantee the equality of opportunities as a public institution, the UV strengthens each year its commitment to the students allocating 180.000 euros to specific grants, that complement the aids given by the Ministry and the Generalitat Valenciana. Moreover, it has a comprehensive support system, placing it as the first Spanish university in number of students with disabilities, with accompaniment and accessibility services stately recognised.
Employability
The Universitat de València presents one of the best indicators of employability of the Spanish university system. More than 75 % of the degree students find a job six months after finishing their studies, a figure that increases to 85 % after two years.
In addition to this strength, there is another key indicator: the UV has one of the lowest rates of abandonment of Spain. According to the Ministry of Universities, while the state average is close to 22 %, at the Universitat de València is 14,06 %, reflection of a well-accompanied training, with clear schedules, and students that progress successfully towards the degree.
