The FISU 2024 3x3 University World Cup, hosted by Huaqiao University in Xiamen, China, takes place from 22-24 November. This tournament brings together the best 3x3 college basketball teams from around the world to compete for the title in one of the most important events of the year.

Men's team: second World Cup experience

On the one hand, men's team of the Universitat de València, made up of Alejandro Bellver, Iván Cubero, Nedas Krisciunas and Pablo Luengo, is participating for the second consecutive time in this competition, after their debut in Qatar last year. Aiming to improve their performance after falling just short of the podium at the recent European Championship, where they finished fourth, they will face Uganda Christian University in the group stage at 4:45 in the morning (21:45 in Spain) and Brazil's Paulista University at 6:45 (23:45 in Spain).

Women's team: consolidating their strength as a team

On the other hand, the women's team, made up of Silvia Bautista, Frida Cecchi, Marina Bleda and Paula García, are coming after winning the silver medal at the European Championships. They have already played two matches in the group stage. In the first, they faced China's Tsinghua University, but failed to win. In the second, they managed to beat ITESM Toluca of Mexico.

Both teams will be looking to advance in the competition and represent the Universitat de València in the best way possible on this important sporting stage.
