The general objective of the UV's Social Fund for Music is to help UV students and musical entities that have suffered losses due to the DANA and to study actions in the affected localities. The actions envisaged include:

  • Assist in the recovery of instruments damaged by the DANA.
  • Assist in the recovery of music files damaged by the DANA.
  • Facilitate economic and materials resources so that UV university students affected by the dana can continue to carry out musical activities.
  • Open a call for grants for aid to enable university students who have suffered materials and financial damage to continue to receive musical training and to repair or maintain their musical instruments.
  • Study what heritage recovery actions can be carried out on the historical score archives located in the damaged localities.
  • Request information from musical entities (choirs, music schools, music societies, academies, etc.) that have suffered materials damage to their instruments and, as far as possible, finance their repair.
  • Study of how to improve the care, maintenance and repair of the musical heritage in general of the musical entities affected by the DANA and their adequacy to preserve them for the future (digitalisation of archives and creation of catalographic databases duly communicated with the network of libraries concerning scores, sound archives and graphic archives).
