The 2024 Benvinguda celebration will begin in the Burjassot campus on Tuesday 15 October. It will continue in Els Tarongers campus on 17 October; then, in Blasco Ibáñez campus on 22 October, and lastly in the campus of Ontinyent in 24 October. The university services and the student associations and groups, will display information booths where they will disclose the initiatives for students, specially those who are on their first academic year. Participation numbers on this event, that began with this format in the academic year 2021-22, haven't stopped growing, and the organization expects that the already consolidated proposal attracts even more students this year.
The event aims to spread the participation and integration opportunities that university life offers, specially with new students, who need to start their college career with a great knowledge of every service that the institution provides. The Benvinguda in the UV is also a meeting point for students, who will have a space for gathering and listening to music, that will be managed by the DJ Somar Kirko.
The activity will take place in a centric and accesible location of every campus. For that reason, as a new thing, the "Benvinguda" in the Blasco Ibáñez campus will be set in the square between the classroom buildings 1 and 3 and the Espai Lluís Vives.
The Student Council organises the Benvinguda through the Information and Promotion Service for Students (Sedi),with the participation of university services and student associations and groups.
