+34 963983896Teresa Orozco Köhler is tenured professor of Prehistory at the Universitat de València since 2001, where she teaches on European Prehistory and Prehistory of the Iberian Peninsula in different Degrees of the Faculty of Geography and History, as well as in the Master’s Degree in Archaeology.
Her research interests focus on recent Prehistory, paying particular attention to the development of social complexity between the Neolithic and the Bronze Age in the Iberian field; the exchanges in Prehistory; polished tool kit and also on Gender Archaeology. She has directed archaeological excavations in different locations of the Mediterranean area; in her fieldwork are very important the excavations of the outdoor Neolithic site of ‘Mas d’Is’ (Penàguila, Alicante), still ongoing.
