Biography
Born in 1953, Valencia.
- Full university professor of Labour and Social Security Law of the Universitat de València - General Studies.
- Director of the Chair for Self-Employment of the Universitat de València
- Director of the Master’s degree courses in Labour Law of the Universitat de València and the Master’s degree in Law ICAV-UV.
- Director and professor of other courses on labour subjects and training courses for judges and public officials and several educational, professional, union and corporate entities.
- Director of several research projects such as the Research Project about “Collective negotiation in small and medium Valencian companies” or the Study of the Comisión Consultiva de Convenios Colectivos about the negotiation in the field of Leather and Footwear or about the Adaptation of Labour Conflict Resolution Systems to the Labour Reform of 2010, etc.
- Researcher in other projects on human rights, immigration, mobbing, negotiation, etc.
- Arbitrator of the Labour Arbitration Tribunal of the Valencian Community and the SIMA (state).
- Author and co-author of several books about different labour subjects and multiple studies and articles about labour issues in the most important journals in this area of specialisation.
- From 1975 to 1998, labour lawyer.
- Several years substitute judge of the Labour Chamber of the High Court of Justice of the Valencian Community.
- Dean of the Faculty of Law of the Universitat de València from 2002 to 2009.
