Currently Lecturer in International Private Law of the “Adolfo Miaja de la Muela” International Law Department of the Universitat de València.
She has the licenciatura (former Spanish undergraduate degree) in Law in 2002 with recognition of the Special Prize of Licenciatura. She is Doctor in International law since 2007, in both cases by the Universitat de València. She has studied several postgraduate courses in the field of foreigners and International law, among which the Master's Degree in Practical International Law from the University of Murcia in 2006 stands out. Also she is graduated in Translation and Interpretation by the Universitat de València (2013).
Her academic experience started in 2003, when she received a research grant to realise Doctoral Studies in the Department of International law of the Universitat de València, and then became part of it. She teaches subjects of International Private Law, legal regime of nationality and foreigners, and the International Commerce Law since 2005, also in other Spanish and Foreigners centres (European and American), in Degree as well as in Postgraduate Studies and in several languages (French, English, Spanish). She has been also lecturer in Spain as well as abroad in many occasions. She realised research stays in renowned centres of Switzerland, United States, United Kingdom, Holland and Belgium.
The lines of research pursued during her academic career have been varied, including topics as International successions, International food, International Family Law, alternative systems of conflict resolutions, application of foreign law, contractual and non-contractual obligations, movement of authentic acts and civil recognition.
She participated in several research projects of public funding, both state and European and of the Universitat de València itself, about different topics of the International Private Law. She collaborated during more than 10 years with the Editorial Tirant lo Blanch in the content development of its legal database Tirant On Line. Also was collaborator with ALR International of the editorial Thomson Reuters (USA), commenting in English on Spanish case-law in the field of public and private international law. She develops different activities in the La Haya of International Private Law Conference (Holland): internship stay (January-April 2007), translator free-lance (English/French to Spanish), liaison personnel to Latin America in the Diplomatic Session of the La Haya Conference about the new Agreement in the field of food that took place in La Haya, from 5 to 23 November 2007.
