Calender for implementation and phasing out
The updated curriculum for the undergraduate degree in Dentistry will take effect in the 2010-2011 academic year. According to Article 11.3 of the Royal Decree 1497/1987, of 27 November, the curriculum leading to the former official degree (licenciado/a) in Dentistry at the University of Valencia will be phased out, as published in the Official State Gazette (BOE) of 20 November 2000. The introduction of the updated 5-year undergraduate degree will be introduced at the same time so that students who have started the former degree (licenciado/a) can adapt to the updated degree programme. Exam attempts will be maintained as well as the opportunity to finish the former degree programme.
