Calender for implementation and phasing out
The upgraded curriculum for the undergraduate degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics will take effect in the 2009-2010 academic year. According to Article 11.3 of the Royal Decree 1497/1987, of 27 November, the curriculum leading to an official 3-year degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of Valencia will be phased out, as published in the Official State Gazette (BOE) of 18 February 2000. Phasing out will take place at two times: in the 2009-2010 academic year the two first years of the 3-year degree will be phased out and the two first years of the undergraduate degree will be introduced; in the 2010-2011 academic year the 3rd and 4th years of the undergraduate degree will be introduced and the 3-year degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics will be phased out. However, students who started their 3-year degree programme before the 2009-2010 academic year and who have requested are guaranteed the possibility of a gradual phasing out process and provided with the necessary resources and materials. Four exam attempts will be available after the courses have been phased out.
