Calender for implementation and phasing out
The upgraded curriculum for the undergraduate degree in Mathematics will take effect in the 2010-2011 academic year. According to Article 11.3 of the Royal Decree 1497/1987, of 27 November, the curriculum leading to an official 5-year degree in Mathematics at the University of Valencia will be phased out, as published in the Official State Gazette (BOE) of 5 October 2000. The four years which comprise the degree will gradually be introduced. The 5-year degree will gradually be phased out starting in 2010-2011, with four exam attempts per subject in the two following years after the courses have been phased out.
