Calender for implementation and phasing out
The updated curriculum for the undergraduate degree in Pharmacy will take effect in the 2009-2010 academic year. According to Article 11.3 of the Royal Decree 1497/1987, of 27 November, the curriculum leading to the former 5-year degree in Pharmacy will be phased out, as published in the Official State Gazette (BOE) of 18 November 1998. It will be introduced at two times: the first four years of the undergraduate degree will be introduced and the first four years of the former 5-year degree will be phased out in 2009-2010; the 5th year of the undergraduate degree will be introduced and the former 5-year degree will be phased out in 2010-2011. Four exam attempts will be maintained (in accordance with the University of Valencia Statutes) for students who are in the former 5-year degree programme. Tutorials and guidance will be provided.
