Conference: Opportunities and territorial challenges in metropolitan municipalities. (Montserrat)
The Chair of Valencian Regional Culture and the Vicerrectorado de Participación y Proyección Territorial (Territorial Projection and Participation) have organized the conference: "OPPORTUNITIES AND TERRITORIAL CHALLENGES IN METROPOLITAN MUNICIPALITIES" in collaboration with the City Council of Montserrat
It is an attractive day that aims to highlight the huge population increase that many populations of the Metropolitan Area of Valencia are suffering. But the objective of this chair wants to go far beyond exposing the threats and weaknesses that affect these localities; wants to be established as a reference space for analysis, research and dissemination of possible solutions to the massive population increase in these areas.
In addition, this Chair wants to be an initiative at the service of Valencian society, which serves as a link between the academic world, the decision-making politician and the citizens, with two great ambitions: the politicization of society, and help to explore the options of a new territorial model and development for the future of the Valencians, their own, original, non-badal, just, efficient, efficient and sustainable.
