"Territori valencià, Territori runner" at the Faculty of Physical Activity and Sport Sciences
Opening 14 December at 12 noon
The Universitat de València, through the Office of the Vice-Principal for Territorial Projection and Society, in collaboration with the Directorate-General for Sports of the Valencian Regional Government and Caja Popular, presents the exhibition “Territorio valenciano, territorio runner” that evidences the growing social and cultural importance of this phenomenon from the contributions of around 40 researchers of the University and other specialists in the field.
The Valencian territory presents the highest rate of popular athletics across the State. In this pioneer, multidisciplinary and versatile exhibition on the enormous importance that the athletics practice is acquiring in the Valencian society. A wide variety of topics, such as health, physiology, life standards, nutrition, injury prevention, psychology, biomechanics, physical preparation, doping, sponsoring, modalities, etc. will be analysed.
