Workshops for languages ​​and cultures - Autumn 2017

Tallers de llengües i cultures - tardor de 2017

Schedule: From 28 september 2017 to 22 december 2017. Monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday and friday at 00:00 to 00:00.


Place: Servei de Política Lingüística de la Universitat de València (Edifici Beatriu Civera, c. del Serpis, 29, València)


The aim is to promote the knowledge, language and culture of each workshop, the multilingual principles and the status of Valencian language as a language for academic activity. Therefore the working languages are the ones being taught in each workshop and Valencian.

The A1+/A2 Croatian language and culture workshop is appropriated for people who have some previous knowledge of this language or any other Slavonic language.

Once the workshops have started, the coaches will be able to propose to the participants group changes, to improve their functioning, especially if they detect very heterogeneous levels.

The unjustified absence in the first session or during two consecutive sessions or three alternates involves the cancellation in the workshop. The justification for absences of attendance will be presented in the first possible session to the person who coaches the workshop, which will be the decision to accept it or not.

The workshops are not validated for credits and attendance will not be certified.

Who can enrol?

The whole university community and members of the collective Alumni UV of the Universitat de València.


At the facilities of the Language Policy Service of the Universitat de València (Beatriu Civera Building, carrer del Serpis, 29, Valencia).


From October 16 to December 22, 2017. The sessions are 90 minutes. There will be no workshops on holidays November 1, December 6 and 8, or November 20 (CELI Italian exams).

How much does it cost?

Attendance is free for the university community and members of the collective Alumni UV .
