The women’s seven-a-side football and rugby teams of the UV will dispute the next Tuesday 8 November the first round of the CADU.

Unlike other sports in which the CADU competition system is structured on the way of leagues, seven-a-side football and rugby take place in the way of gathering with several games before the different universities in the same event.

The Universitat Politècnica de València will hold the first event, that will take place in the facilities of the sports centre Quatre Carreres, where it will be the rugby matches, and the football turf pitch of the UPV, where football matches will be played.

In that pitch the women’s seven-a-side football team will start the event at 10.00, with its game against the Universidad Católica of Valencia. The team leaded by José Andrés Menchero, will play two matches in this first event, the second will be against the Universidad Miguel Hernández University of Elche second match will be at 13.00 against the Miguel Hernández of Elche at 13.00.

At 10:00 it will also start the women’s rugby matches. The team directed by Ana Aigneren, will play four matches during the morning: at 10:00 against the Universidad Católica of Valencia, at 11.40 against Universidad Miguel Hernández of Elche, at 13.20 against the Universidad de Alicante, and finally, against the host team, the UPV, at 14.00.

Her mates of the men team of rugby, run by Marcos Armiñana will face at 10.20 the Universidad Miguel Hernández of Elche, at 11.20 the Universidad de Alicante, at 12.20 the Universitat Politècnica de València, and finally against the Universidad Cardenal Herrera at 13.20.
