Colloquium: Italian community at València
Italy is the first source of students who carry out an Erasmus stay at the Universitat de València, as it is also the main Erasmus destination for Valencian students. We are two societies, two territories with a long history of exchanges and mutual influences: the Roman foundation of Valencia, a Crown of Aragon that extended from València to Naples, the Borgias... There are currently more than 25,000 registered Italians in the Valencian Country and many others who live, permanently or temporarily, without being registered. Why do they come, how do they live, how do they feel and how do they interact with the local population?
