Sagunt, located 25 km. north of the city of Valencia, is the capital of the region of Camp de Morvedre.It is located on the banks of the Palancia River, it occupies a strategic place from the geographical point of view.
Its historical importance is manifested through its more than two thousand years of existence. A city that receives various cultures (Iberian, Roman, Islamic, Christian and Jewish), it conserves a valuable historical heritage such as its Roman Theater, the Roman Via del Portico or the Jewish Quarter.
In addition, it preserves an important industrial heritage resulting from its stage as a steel city developed in the port area.
