The History Conferences of Valencian Education
Since 2001 these conferences keep fostering knowledge of a significant field of our historical reality. They try to acknowledge and understand past situations about education, always answering the need to reflect about problems and facts of the present time. Ideas, models and procedures that are built historically and still today are relevant. In this edition we travel a historiographic pathway through speeches and pedagogical praxis in Valencian society, in the capital city and also in other districts and municipalities. These conferences try to be a reason and a chance to rethink education from the historical perspective, check the praxis when institutionalising and clarify the evolution of its normative organisation.
