I Ibero-American Congress of Cycling Sciences
First Ibero-American Congress of Cycling Sciences was born from the interest and enthusiasm of different research groups in advancing the scientific knowledge of this beloved sport.
In this effort to increase knowledge in cycling sciences, different synergies have been created in recent years between biomechanics groups of the University of Valencia, University of León, CAR of Sant Cugat, Catholic University of San Antonio de Murcia, and the applied neuromechanics group of the Federal University of Pampa of Brazil. However, until today, there had not been a place that was completely focused on disseminating the latest results and advances in the cycling sciences.
In this context the present congress is born. Why Iberoamerican? Because this first edition has been promoted by Spanish and Brazilian groups. The organization of future editions will alternate between Spain and the countries of South America, mainly Brazil.
