Vienna, 1900. Stefan Brand, a famous pianist, receives a letter from a woman with whom he had in the past a love relationship that he no longer remembers. Lisa is a stranger for him, someone who has gone through his life without leaving a trace.
And, however, she is still passionately in love with that young musician that she met when she still was a teenager.
