May, the month of orchids in the Botànic
The explosion of colors that brings Spring to our garden reaches its climax this May that we dedicate to orchids, coinciding with the thematic meeting that every year the Association of OrquífilosValencians (OVAL) organizes in our Garden. The botanical family of the Orchidaceae is one of the largest that exist, with more than 850 genera and 30,000 known species, plus all hybrids.
Knowing and enjoying them is our proposal with activities for all tastes: exhibition and sale of orchids, photography exhibition of native species, cultivation workshop and several talks. In short, aromas, colors and, above all, shared experiences around a plant that always manages to fascinate our senses.
