Medicinal plants. Workshop on aloe cream
Alumni UV organises the medicinal plants workshop ‘Aloe Cream’, as part of the activities carried out in collaboration with the Botanical Garden of the Universitat de València for members of the group of friends and alumni of the UV and the general public.
This month’s workshop will focus on medicinal plants in general and aloe vera in particular.
The session will be used to get to know this plant native to Africa with large, fleshy leaves; learn about its flowering, cultivation, how it can be grown at home and also how it can be harvested.
In addition, its medicinal and cosmetic uses will also be discussed. As practice we will make homemade aloe cream, and each participant will take away a sample.
Attendance at the workshop requires previous registration.
