Agenda UV

The Office of the Vice-Principal for Sustainability, Cooperation and Healthy Life, with the collaboration of the Sports Service and the Faculty of Physical Activity and Sport Sciences (FCAFE), launches a group of Runners for the year 2023 as an action of Healthy and Sustainable University, with the aim of encouraging the participation and promotion of a healthy physical activity and sports among colleagues, in a non-competitive way, and fostering the group identity as UVRunners and the enthusiasm for popular races.

The activity is aimed primarily at UV staff and will consist of free training sessions led by a professor of the FCAFE twice a week, in the Tarongers and Blasco Ibáñez Campuses, to properly prepare for participation as UVRunners in the circuit of popular races in the city of València.

Everyone can participate, it is only necessary to register and commit to attend the training sessions in order to run in a healthy way and properly prepare for the popular races in which we will participate as a team and with an identifying UVRunners t-shirt.

The training sessions start on Monday 9 January and will take place at the UV sports facilities: Mondays, from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. in Tarongers, and Wednesdays, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. in Blasco Ibáñez.
