On Friday 27^th September at 7:55 p.m. in the Youth House of Cocentaina, Vicent Beltran Calvo and Carles Segura-Llopes’ book “Els parlars valencians” will be presented.

Apart from the authors, the linguistic technician Vicent Santamaria of AVIVA Cocentaina will be involved in the project. "Els parlars valencians” describes, after a notorious field research, the linguistic wealth of Catalan language in the Valencian Country. The work is organised in four parts: the first one shows a general vision of the characteristics of the language, while in the second part the different varieties that have been studied are classified. The 3^rd one is organised according to the traditional structure of dialectical monographies, which include phonetics, morph-syntax and lexical issues.  Open the linguistic atlas of Valencian, which include 56 coloured maps in which the different linguistic variations are represented. The research that has led to this book has been given the IEC de Lexicografía y Onomástica Joan Coromines Award 2017.
