On Wednesday, December 11 at 12 a.m., the book Incunabula in Archivo Sedis Valentinae Asservata by José V. Boscà and Mª Luz Mandingorra is presented at the Holy Chalice of the Cathedral of Valencia. Besides the authors, in the act will participate, Emilio Aliaga, Illustrious Dean of the Cathedral of Valencia and Josep Lluís Canet, Director of Publicacions de la Universitat de València.

The Archive of the Valencia Cathedral currently houses a collection of 117 incunabula corresponding to 85 editions, the oldest of which dates back to 1468. This work approaches, on the one hand, the historical study of this collection and its formative process and, and on the other hand, the characteristics that differentiate it, while at the same time cataloging the copies according to the criteria currently applied for incunabula. The development of the catalogue has allowed to present pieces of exceptional singularity among the Spanish collections, as well as the discovery of a unique copy in the world of a bull of indulgences of the Holy Crusade, the Bull of the Crusade (Bula de la Santa Cruzada). The work, authored by the professors of the Universitat de València Josep V. Boscá Codina and María Luz Mandingorra Llavata, has a prologue written by the great specialist in the matter Julián Martín Abad.
