A botanical, agronomic and organoleptic through the varieties of the vineyards that are traditionally cultivated in the Valencian Community lands, and the wines that are elaborated with them. Jaume X. Soler, expert on the field, will accompany us through the different wine-growing regions in the territory to talk about widely known black grapes variety such as the Boval, Monastrell, Giro, and others not as popular, but with a bright future such as the Mandó and the Forcallat. Without forgetting the different white grapes vineyards, some much cultivated such as the Moscatel, and others endagered such as the Merseguera, Planta Fina de Pedralba y Trapadell.

In addition, we will taste a special selection of wines made with the above mentioned varieties, so we can discover their organoleptic characteristics. We will analise consolidated wines, but also some innovative ones so we can have an idea of the wine possibilities that many areas of the Valencian territory offer. An approach to the Valencian viniculture that goes beyond the wine tasting itself, and intends to acknowledge the wide diversity of Valencian vineyards and wines.

Organized by:
