The Physical Education and Sports Service and the Faculty of Physical Activity and Sport Sciences of the Universitat de València organise on 19 June the 5 Race Universitat de València, part of the 12 circuit Divina Pastora Seguros of popular races of Valencia.

Once again, Blasco Ibáñez will be the setting of the university race par excellence with a quick race (the second shortest race of the 12 circuit Divina Pastora) to get the most of the runners strength along its straight lines and a total of 5 335 metres.

Starting at the Primado Reig Avenue and finishing at the sport facilities of the Campus of the Universitat de València, it is a mass popular race where students, professors and staff of the Universitat will have their own particular classification, setting an example with their trainers on.

new categories will be created for this race, each of them with their own classifications and trophies. PDI-PAS (male and female) and students (male and female). In order to participate in this category, the members of the university community will have to show they belong to the university and also their race registration. The attention hours for athletes will be from 6 to 10 June at the receptions of the sport campus of Blasco Ibañez and Tarongers from 9:00 to 13:00 (from 11:00 to 14:00 in the Sports Service of Burjassot), and from 16:00 to 20:00 at the Blasco Ibañez Campus, which will extent the attention hours the days 13 and 14 June for laggards. The participant must show the registration for the 5 Race Universitat de València and prove they belong to the Universitat de València with the student card and their ID.

The Universitat will give a technical t-shirt to the first 500 participants that prove to be registered in the race and to be part of the university community.
