The University Choir of Valencia opens its registration period (Until 20 October)

 

The University Choir of Valencia opens its registration period and will offer more seats on October. The University Choir of Valencia is a musical group of great quality and has more than 65 years of history. The members of the choir besides enjoying good music of great authors, they can obtain: free elective credits or ECTS, musical training, weekends of intensive work in hostels, travel possibilities, etc.

The University Choir of Valencia is preparing a very active and interesting course with daring repertoires with the collaboration of excellent groups. This year they are planning to interpret:

Polovtsian Dances from the Prince Igor by A. Borodin and Pavana de G. Fauré.

With the Philharmonic Orchestra of the University of Valencia and his director Hilari García.

‘El mundo canta ante una cuna’

On Christmas the Choir enters in the dynamics of the Duke of Calabria Court in the 16th century Valencia with the prestigious group of Renaissance instruments LUX VENTI.

Dido and Aeneas by Henry Purcell

Opera with the Baroque Orchestra of the High Conservatoire of Music of Valencia with a young and current staging that will surprise you.

Serenades Festival

The programme ‘Cançons per a la nit’ (Night songs) will include a repertoire of music from the 20th and 21th century for choir and piano, which will mix music and poetry in the cloister of La Nau.
