The joint committee of the Chairmanship of the Valencian School for Health-EVES- was constituted at the University of Valencia’s Principal’s Office. During the meeting the designation of the Chair director, which will be Jose Maria Martin Moreno, full university professor in the Department of Preventive Medicine and Public Health, Food Sciences, Toxicology and Forensic Medicine of the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry.

The act was attended by Guillermo Palao Moreno, vice-principal of Internationalisation and Cooperation of the University of Valencia; Ignacio Ferrer Cervera, deputy secretary of the Valencian Department of Health; Pilar Viedma Gil de Vergara, general deputy director of the EVES; Gonzalo Paris Vicente, scientific director of Glaxosmithkline; Isabel Pérez Escolano, director of the Evaluation of Medicinal Products within the same enterprise; as well as Jose María Moreno himself.
The Chairmanship of the Valencian School for Health Studies -EVES- will carry out training courses, conferences; will provide predoctoral and postdoctoral scholarships and awards for undergraduate degree final projects; and will promote the realization of research projects, doctoral thesis as well as national and international meetings of experts on topics of interest.
