The workshop El aprendizaje de la estadística: un reto para la enseñanza universitaria (Spanish for Statics learning: a challenge for university education) will take place at the Saló de Graus of the Faculty of Psychology (UV) on Tuesday 18th February from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.. Registration is free and it shall be done via email to labpsitec@uv.es

This workshop has been organised thanks to the European project ALEAS - Adaptive LEArning Statics (Erasmus Project K+ KA2 https://aleas-project.eu/es). This project has the purpose of encouraging the learning of statistics by university students through a mobile application adaptable to the knowledge of each student.

The workshop aims to bring together teaching staff interested in methodology, professionals related to instruction, research staff and both Degree and Master’s Degree students in the field of social sciences, health and humanities who may be interested in learning statistics. In particular, in using the mobile application for learning statistics that is being developed as part of the project.

In the workshop different lectures will be developed by teachers of the Faculty of Psychology with experience in the field of statistics and/or learning through technological devices. Attendees will be able to participate in the development of the mobile application by providing feedback on the quality of the modules being developed, which are intended to help future students understand statistics more easily, as this mobile application is intended to be implemented in future academic courses as a support for face-to-face classes.
