Film composed of eight short films of twenty minutes each one: scattered and independent daydreams, but connected it through wishes, anguishes and nostalgia. The story of Yo, from childhood to old age, it serves for showing the relationship between the man and the world, art, spirituality and death. The eight stories (drawn from Kurosawa’s dreams) reflect the changes experienced by Japan during a century.
