Javier Goerlich Lleó

1935 (closed since 2012)

This singular building is one of the most representative and most important examples of architectural racionalism in the city of Valencia.

Its architect, Javier Goerlich, designed this hall of residence in 1935.

Because of its singularity within the modern 20th century movement, it was included in the Iberian DOCOMOMO registrer in 2009.

In addition, due to its interest and importance, Lluís Vives Hall of Residence is also included in the General Plan of Valencia as a Bé de Rellevància Local (BRL) in the category of Monument of Local Interest.
