The Heritage Area of the University of Valencia has been working intensively on the recovery, study, cataloging, restoration and dissemination of the artistic goods of the institution. Thanks to the tools designed for the management and dissemination of the cultural property of the University of Valencia and to the work and projects carried out about the various collections, the Area offers a wide service of information useful both for the institution and other public or private bodies. It also advises on artistic heritage and documentation issues, carries out the necessary arrangements for the exhibition of its works, with the consequent study and specification of the best conditions for transportation and storage, and formalises the donations of works by artists and individuals to the University. The preparation of reports and studies on university heritage, as well as the draft of scientific texts and publications complete the tasks of the Cultural Heritage Conservation Area, whose main objective is the promotion of the excellent university heritage for the benefit of society. It also holds theoretical and practical courses.
