Programming lines and exhibition projects

The temporary exhibitions programme organised by the Office of the Vice-Principal for Culture and Sport is a key area linked to the management and dissemination of culture developed by the Universitat de València

The basic principles that bind together the temporary exhibitions programme, derived from the values and commitments set out in the statutes and in the strategic plan of the UV, are as follows:

• Advance of scientific and artistic knowledge
• Scientific and cultural heritage of the UV
• Fostering critical thinking; respect for ideological and cultural diversity
• Recovery and spreading of the own culture
• Denunciation of inequality and social exclusion
• Sustainability and protection of the natural environment
• Promoting the creation of networks of participation

Most of the programme is self-produced and exhibited at La Nau Cultural Centre. But other university centres such as Palau de Cerveró, Rector Peset Hall of Residence and the Botanical Garden also hold a permanent exhibition programme, based on the theme and format of the projects.

If you believe your project fits the programming criteria, you can send a complete dossier including a description, budget and funding of the project, or you can use the form that we have prepared to facilitate the submission and receipt of projects. Please, send your dossier or form to: norberto.piqueras@uv.es

We inform that all proposals will be assessed according to the possibilities of cooperation and the compliance with the programming basic criteria. We will give priority to the proposals that are:

• Projects presented by professional or artistic groups; or by citizen platforms.
• Projects linked to the proper functions of the UV (teaching, research, cultural dissemination)
• Projects financed either wholly or in part.
