Würth-EMC Chair of the Universitat de València, conducted by Professor José Torres, has organised a free seminar related to the selection of components for magnetic compatibility (EMC).

We are pleased to invite you to attend this seminar, which shall take place on Wednesday, 25th April starting at 9 a.m. at the Boardroom (0.2.4) of the ETSE-UV.

The first part of the event will be presented by Juan Miguel del Pino, Field Applications Engineer for Würth Elektronik.

The contents of the seminar shall focus on describing the parameters and characteristics of the several materials and products such as ferrites, common mode chokes and inductors.

Besides, simulations will be used to loss and dependence of temperature in DC-DC commutated converters by using different types of inductors.

The second part shall be conducted by Adrián Suárez, researcher for the Würth-EMC Chair of the Universitat de València.

It will be focused on the description of magnetic shielding materials and presenting examples of the applicability of those to eliminate EMI problems or redirect magnetic flux.
