Abstract:
Technology is part of our lives. We are surrounded by screens, we have appliances connected by Wi-Fi, glucose meters connected via Bluetooth, and there are even cars that can be controlled from your cell phone!
We often browse the internet without knowing whether the site we are accessing is secure. We give external companies permission to do whatever they want with our data by accepting their terms and conditions. We put our security at risk with every decision, with every click.
In this talk, we will discuss how to prevent and protect ourselves from cybercriminals, what kind of information they are interested in, and we will look at examples of methods and tools they use to obtain our information.
