Unlike the transversal activities, that are common to all the doctoral programmes in each field of knowledge, the specific activities are only present in each doctoral programme and they include:

  • Doctoral sessions.
  • Research seminars.
  • Participation in conferences.
  • Research internships.

The ones recommended each year among congresses, seminars, conferences and more academic events organised by the IUED and by the Feminist economics Chair are considered specific activities.  The attendance of the activities organised by lecturers of the programme will also be recommended. They will also be announced via our website under the news heading in due course.  Equally, and following the recommendations of the tutor and the director of the thesis, the doctoral students will be able carry out activities that they consider that are interesting in terms of education and the fulfilment of their doctoral thesis.

You will have to ask for the recognition of these activities through the corresponding paper and the certificate of attendance in each one of them, when required.
