The educative activities have as purpose maintaining updated students’ knowledge who wish to carry out research tasks, with the purpose of undertaking a doctoral thesis, as well as complimenting the already achieved formation. Every year, in the light of specialized education needs of the enroled students, and taking into account the participation perspectives of visiting professors in the programme and in the availability of the same teaching staff of the doctoral programme, the content of each of these modules will be confectioned. The student, in agreement with his director or theses coordinators will be able to choose any of these modules of a supra departmental nature. Before the approval of the submission of the thesis the doctoral student must have passed, at least, one of those modules.

The CCD will be able to partly or completely validate any of the modules aforementioned by means of the participation in specialisation schools or workshops, the attendance to other courses or the undertaking of other activities which, from the CCD viewpoint, may be marked as equivalents. The application form for validation must be presented by the interested student and being approved by the director of thesis.
