International Congress on Innovative Education in Business and Economics (ICIEBE 21)

The COVID-19 pandemic has reshaped the foundations of our day-to-day lives, demanding a rapid adjustment to the restrictions set by health regulations. The unprecedented nature of this health crisis has forced higher education institutions to adapt their teaching models to comply with the restrictions on face-to-face teaching by adopting hybrid or online teaching models. This situation has required a proactive role on behalf of teachers who have been confronted with the need to modify their teaching methodologies to ensure the acquisition of meaningful learning despite the limitations associated with the non-face-to-face teaching.

In this context, current edition of the International Congress on Innovative Education in Business and Economics (ICIEBE 21), which will be held on July 22rd and 23th, aims to be a place for the exchange of experiences on teaching innovation initiatives developed to address the COVID-19 in the field of higher education. In this way, the aim is not only to discuss the innovations carried out during the pandemic, but also to reflect on the lessons learned that will help define the future of higher education. Participation may be in person (until full capacity is reached due to health restrictions) and online. The organization will try to accommodate the preferences of the participants. The official languages of the congress are English, Spanish and Valencià. Final papers will be published in the conference proceedings.
