In the meeting held from the 1st to the 3rd of April 2019 at the Weber State University, several topics of great importance for the students of the International Business degree of the Faculty of Economics have been dealed.
The Associate Dean of international relations, Asunción Hernández, and the international double degree coordinator of the International Business degree, Ana Zorio, have attended the spring meeting of TABSA (TransAtlantic Business School Alliance) that took place in Ogden, Utah (USA) from the 1st to the 3rd of April.
The Faculty of Economics is one of the founding members of the TABSA network (Transatlantic Business School Alliance), in wich participate European universities: Hochshule Bremen (Germany), Kedge Business School (France), University of Hertfordshire (United Kingdom) and American universities: University of North Carolina at Wilmington, University of North Florida, Weber State University and Hofstra University (United States). Being part of TABSA implies a close collaboration in exchanges within the network and more specifically in the area of double international degrees.
The meeting has addressed, among other topics, the creation of the future transnational academy for the International Business studies, as well as the review of the double international degree program with the University of Hertfordshire.
The representation of the Faculty have taken advantage of the visit to meet with the group of the Weber State University’s students who are candidates to complete their double international degree program in Valencia the next academic year.
The meetings are held in order to enhance the relations and exchanges with partner universities. The Faculty of Economics will host the next annual meeting of TABSA from the 4th to the 6th of November, 2019.
