Blended Learning as of 13th, April

The Conselleria d'Innovació, Universitats, Ciència i Societat Digital i el Sistema Universitari Públic Valencià, in a meeting held on February 18th, and considering the evolution of health data in the Valencian Community, agreed to retake, as of Monday 1st March, the blended learning model that each University had planned and approved for teaching the second semester of the 2020-2021 academic year.

But, due to the essential restructuring and adaptation works that are being carried out in the south building of the Tarongers campus, it will not be possible to develop the blended learning model in all degrees and double degrees, as was originally planned once the online period imposed by the pandemic has ended.

For this reason, from April 13th to July 2nd, all teaching spaces will be available to develop the blended learning model, in order to end the semester as normally as possible within the sanitary restrictions.

How does that rotating shift work?

Very easy: if your surname is between A and L, you will go to the classroom on the week indicated in the schedule. That week, students with surnames between M and Z will be receiving online teaching. Shifts will be reversed the following week. Students whose surnames are between M and Z will go to the classroom, the others staying at home.

In this rotating shift plan there are three exceptions, all derived from the fact that the groups in these degrees are smaller from the beginning, and therefore their teaching will not be subjected to shifts. It is the double degree of Business Administration + Law, the Degree in BIA and the Masters.

You can find out which shift is played each week by reviewing the academic calendar that appears on the Faculty website:  https://ir.uv.es/estudia/horarios2sem

We appreciate once again the exemplary behavior of students and staff during this difficult year.
